15 Video Game Series That Absolutely Need To Be Rebooted

Many would balk at the very idea of a mainline Metal Gear sequel made without Hideo Kojima, especially given the circumstances of how he left Konami. But this is a massive, beloved franchise, one that – if handled properly – Konami can continue to build on for years to come. Will they do that? For now, it doesn’t seem like they have any interest in making AAA video games. If they do hypothetically do it, how will they go about it? Would they continue the series’ rich, dense story or would they rather wipe the slate clean and start from scratch? Either would be a risky move- one way or another, we do hope that we see more of Metal Gear down the road.
