RESIDENT EVIL 3 REMAKE
Even in recent years, which have been incredible for Resident Evil, the franchise has seen at least one dip. No, Resident Evil 3’s 2020 remake is nowhere close to being as disappointing as the likes of RE6, and viewed on its own, it’s actually a decent game that can be a lot of fun to play- but boy does it squander its potential. Cutting out the clock tower section (among other areas), completely nerfing Nemesis as a stalker enemy, truncating the outdoor environments of Raccoon City, reusing so much of the RE2 remake’s ideas- the RE3 remake made plenty of decisions that ended up dragging the experience down in significant ways.
