MASS EFFECT 3- RED, BLUE AND GREEN VERSION
Also known as the time BioWare hired Pokémon developers Game Freak to do some of their writing. Mass Effect 3 is one of my personal favourite games of all time, and I personally do not think the ending was bad enough to detract from the rest of the amazing game, especially after the Extended Cut. But it was a bit of a slap in the face to the people who had stuck with the trilogy since its inception. Not only did Mass Effect 3’s ending fail to take scores of player made choices into account, it also failed to answer so many questions, failed to tie up so many lose ends. Did people go overboard with their reaction to the ending? Probably. Did it make Mass Effect 3 any less of a great game? Not really. Was it still a disappointing payoff to a hundred hours of investment over three games? Undoubtedly.
