BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM- ROLE REVERSAL
This entry is a little similar in nature to the bit about Eternal Darkness, in that it makes you stare at the screen in horror, fooling you into thinking that the game has crashed, and then making you wonder if it’s the game that is doing all this or if it’s you who is slowly losing his mind. Which is appropriate, because that is exactly the kind of effect the Scarecrow should have on the Batman, and in Arkham Asylum, we are the Batman. Except in this specific part, where the screen goes berserk for a few seconds, apparently glitching out, and then replays the opening scene of the game. Except this time, rather than the Caped Crusader bringing a tied-up Joker into the Asylum, it’s all happening the other way around, and we are playing as The Joker. Truly one of the most memorable sections of the entire game, and one that simply blew us away.
