7. Better weapon mechanics

Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught

While I accede to the claim that all the characters that we play in the CoD games are war trained and hardened, it’s quite odd to have almost every weapon stable like a mounted rifle with recoil close to zilch. Weapon stability is appreciated in shooter games, but making things so easy just doesn’t cut it.

You go about toting the gun and emptying complete ammo clips with almost hundred percent accuracy. Previous CoD games had that issue and it finally got to me with the latest iteration. Also, in Ghosts, you could practically put down people with two bullets. That’s all it took. Weapons need to be toned down a bit. On the other hand, there have been times when people have emptied half a magazine and not been able to kill players with almost all the bullets finding the target. The next Call of Duty needs to learn from its forerunners’ mistakes.
