YIGA CLAN HIDEOUT- THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD
The Legend of Zelda has had a long history of terribly frustrating forced stealth sections, and even Breath of the Wild, with all its accomplishments, couldn’t escape that history. The Yiga Clan hideout goes against the concepts that form the very core of this game, pushing players into an extremely linear and extremely guided scenario, where player agency is stripped away and boiled down to a minimum, as they’re forced to make it past enemies in the most ridiculous and frustrating way the game could drum up. The game could forego the series’ traditional dungeons, but this it had to keep?
