Unless you’re talking about cloud streaming (or some very specific games) input latency isn’t necessarily an issue that a great many people feel too strongly about, but for games like, say, competitive shooters – where even the slightest spike in latency can be a deal-breaker – it can be a problem. The Xbox Series X’s Dynamic Latency Input, which will synchronize players’ input with the game’s simulation dynamically (as the name suggests) thus looks like a promising new improvement.
