Though Batman takes his fair share of punishment in all of the Arkham games, Batman: Arkham Knight sets the bar. Along with the Joker’s blood infecting him, which means he could potentially lose himself forever, Batman has the clown in his head causing hallucinations and surreal battle scenarios. That’s not counting the elite military squad taking over the city, Barbara Gordon potentially killing herself, Jason Todd coming back for revenge, the entire city blanketed in fear toxin and eventually having to reveal his identity to save Jim Gordon. It’s quite the mess.
