16. ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection

I have the highest respect for Team ICO now. Not due to the fact they make some great games but they did something which very few publishers and developers do. They listened to us…the fans…the gamers. By giving the remakes of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, they have not only proved they are good listeners but someone who actually respects the passion of video games and video gamers.

15. Motorstorm Apocalypse

This time the racers must deal with the unpredictability of a crumbling urban environment. Filled with unstable skyscrapers, fiery subway tunnels, twisting bridges, and collapsing buildings, the almost completely abandoned city offers the perfect playground for MotorStorm’s electric brand of brutal street racing. Fully customize your collection of vehicles, including supercars, muscle cars, and superbikes, and face down your fellow ‘Stormers as well as a city where destruction awaits you at every turn. With tremors and aftershocks continuing to hit the city in real-time, players will be faced with making quick decisions in a landscape on the verge of total devastation. Welcome to the apocalypse, MotorStorm style!

14. inFamous 2

inFAMOUS 2 opens in Empire City as a massive explosion rips through the town signaling the birth of a new evil. Nearly escaping death by the dark entity known as “The Beast”, Cole flees the city. Upon leaving, Cole discovers that “The Beast” has destroyed Empire City and is heading down the coast annihilating everything in its path. In an effort to stop “The Beast” from destroying mankind, Cole heads to New Marais in search of a scientist who is believed to hold the key to defeating this dark entity. As the mystery of “The Beast” unfolds, Cole must learn to harness his powers for the sake of mankind.

13. Little Big Planet 2

LittleBigPlanet has always empowered players to CREATE their own levels by utilizing the same tool set used by the development team. In LittleBigPlanet 2, the tools have evolved to allow users to not only make better levels, but completely new games. With the implementation of a new CREATE mode, players will have the ability to broaden their developer horizons across multiple genres. Now allowing for a higher level of gameplay control, players can reset the control buttons for any object and change the rules to any level—imagine racing games, flying games, and shooters–you can now take control of anything!
