Next up in the timeless classics category, we have probably one of the most timeless classics of all time. Grand Theft Auto 5 has achieved a level of success that it’s hard to properly wrap your head around, but for many, San Andreas will remain the series’ high point. This was where GTA perfected its formula. A solid story, well-developed characters, varied and consistently engaging mission designs (barring a few notable stinkers), and just ridiculous levels of freedom to wreak havoc in the massive open world.
