There is a vast contingent that considers Skyrim to be the best Elder Scrolls game, but there’s an equally devoted chunk of the series’ fanbase that swears by Morrowind as its zenith. Regardless of which group you agree with (perhaps neither), there’s no denying that Morrowind is a phenomenal game. Its massive open world was unbelievable, especially for its time, not just because of its scope, but also how richly detailed it was and how engaging it was to explore.
