By comparison, Dead Rising 3 should tickle one’s open world, zombie-slaying fancy just fine. Sure there’s a plot about Los Perdidos being taken over and Psychopaths to fight. But the real appeal is making all sorts of crazy weapons and slaughtering the undead by the hundreds. Dead Rising 3 even allows for customizable vehicles so that you could combine, say, a motorcycle who’s front tire is a steamroller and roll over zombies. Despite some performance issues and forgettable side-quests, it’s a decent ride altogether.
