Capybara’s Below was first announced in 2013 and wouldn’t release until December 2018. The appeal of a rogue-lite dungeon crawler with randomly generated dungeons and permadeath wasn’t exactly new by this point. However, Below’s aesthetic intrigued us with its aesthetic and atmosphere, feeling appropriately desolate even as we yearned for a closer look at our character.
