Adventure games used to be all the rage back in the early 90s, but the genre’s popularity fizzled out towards the start of the century. Those familiar with the genre would know the stature of Monkey Island and its sequels, so when Return to Monkey Island was announced not too long ago – fans rejoiced with enthusiasm and excitement. In development at Terrible ToyBox with Ron Gilbert at the helm, Return to Monkey Island is set to be a return to life with all the laughs and gameplay touches that one would expect from the franchise. Return To Monkey Island releases for Nintendo Switch and PC on 19th September, 2022.
