2K Drive Dev Diary Showcases Gameplay, Explains Mechanics

Find out more about RaceFace and the controls for this iOS racer.

2K Drive may not be the most original name for a racing game, especially when the publisher is 2K Games, but it looks impressive on its own. This is especially so when you consider that developer Lucid Games features professionals who have worked on racing games like Project Gotham Racing and Blur.

In a new dev diary, we get to learn more 2K Drive’s mechanics, right down to the customization options, controls, the boost system and of course RaceFace which allows you to take your own picture and feature it as your racer’s face. Hopefully the game will handle well on iOS platforms and give games like Real Racing 3 a run for their money (and micro-transactions).

2K Drive is currently scheduled to release for iOS in the coming months, and will be available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Stay tuned for more details as we approach the release date.
