Much like The Pathless that we discussed before, Solar Ash is another criminally overlooked game that deserves a lot more attention. Developed by Heart Machine of Hyper Light Drifter fame, Solar Ash is a game that’s entirely built around making the most out of a smooth movement system which makes the moment-to-moment gameplay extremely fun. The level designs are also pretty creative, and the constant introduction of new obstacles ensures that you remain on your toes at all times. It’s also set in a highly imaginative world that not only features striking art direction but also great world-building – which comes together to make Solar Ash a well-rounded experience that’s definitely worth a look.
