Frostpunk 2
Some will prefer the scope and scale of the original, but Frostpunk 2 is still worth playing. The essence of survival in a post-apocalyptic, beyond-frozen wasteland weighed against more social struggles, like appeasing the various factions, quelling riots, and passing bills. Progress is measured in weeks instead of months, and trying to ensure New London makes it through while offering a better life can get emotionally trying (but in a good way, mostly). The heavier city-builder focus may not be for everyone, but Frostpunk 2 is still a worthy sequel that ventures forth through the long dark in its own way.
