After the entertaining but relatively safe Gears of War 4, The Coalition pulled out all the stops for Gears 5. A new direction for the story, more open environments with side quests and optional objectives, and several new tactics – coupled with the third-person, cover-based shooting and epic set pieces we know and love. Multiplayer can be hit or miss but Horde Mode at least provides some fun for up to five players.
