Swashbuckling pirate adventure Sea of Thieves, a longstanding Microsoft exclusive, has crossed the ocean to PS5 and its now one of the chilliest ways to while away the hours with your mates on Sony’s home console. Quests are aplenty, including themed adventures based on Pirates of the Caribbean and Monkey Island, but more tangible joy in living the pirate’s life is provided by rudderless exploration; the game’s a sandbox, and at its best when you’re making your own narratives across the seas.
