Shadow of the Colossus
Much like Mafia that we discussed before, Shadow of the Colossus doesn’t feature oodles of side-content like other open worlds on this list. But that absence is what makes this game so special; Shadow of the Colossus really makes you feel like you are a lone ranger who unfortunately has to suck any and all remaining life out of this already crumbled kingdom to achieve your goal. Each fight against the Colossi is different than the last, and simply put – it’s an experience that will remain with you long after the credits roll.
