And here we are- Red Dead Redemption 2 has been praised endlessly since it came out in 2018, and pretty much everything there is to say about the game has been said already by countless people. No matter how much we praise it though, it never quite seems like enough, because this is truly a seminal game. Its massive and ridiculously detailed open world, its visual fidelity, which it achieves on a scale unmatched by any other game, its unforgettable story, which is driven by an excellent cast of characters and the best writing ever in a Rockstar game- there’s just so much to praise here, so much to be impressed by. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best game you can play on an Xbox One- and one of the greatest games of all time, period.
