Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
There was some skepticism about Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy after the underwhelming Marvel’s Avengers. Not only does it offer unique gameplay that mixes beat ’em up combat with tactical use of each character’s abilities, but solid characterization, backed by a strong narrative with suitable stakes. It’s a proper action adventure with no strings attached that feels epic yet personal at the same time and plays great. You really couldn’t ask for more.
