Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 serves as a prequel to the first game, following Arthur Morgan and the van der Linde gang’s slow destruction. In terms of open world scale, it took everything from the first game and expanded on it significantly – greater attention to detail, more involved side missions and activities, and an almost agonizing emphasis on realism. The combat may not have appealed to everyone but the story, with its characters and tragic outcomes, made it worth the trip and then some.
