Frozen Synapse has always been a quirk strategy title where you chart out all your moves in advance before executing them at once. The sequel will include a huge procedurally generated city with a number of AI factions and the ability to collaborate or battle against any of them. Stealth is one of the newer mechanics and players can also create more complex stats for units. If the “tactics meets grand strategy” approach is successful, then Frozen Synapse 2 could be several leagues ahead of its predecessor.
