8. Hardware defects
As with many other consumer oriented electronic devices, the Xbox One and PS4 are not perfect and may run into some pretty serious hardware defects. Players are already complaining about the PS4 hardware defects, for example the blue line of death. Not to mention the Xbox One which has already seen its share of disc drive issues.
