Scarlet Nexus

Another weird release in terms of sales is Bandai Namco’s Scarlet Nexus. It was the fifth best-selling game in the United States for June 2021 as per the NPD Group. However, it sold 31,168 physical copies in Japan for its debut week. In the UK physical sales charts, it debuted in eighth place, which seems good but sales dropped by 62 percent, causing it to plummet to 27^th place in just one week. While Bandai Namco hasn’t explicitly revealed sales figures, in its Q1 fiscal year results ending June 30^th 2021, it expected the title to reach one million sales…by March 31^st 2022. Whether that’s a good thing or not, especially considering the game’s marketing and scope, is up to you to decide.
