Van Buren

Van Buren

Back in the 90’s, Black Isle were one of the best developers ever. They made both Baldur’s Gate games and the original two Fallout titles. That should be enough to show you why such a sweeping statement is needed, and if it doesn’t then you should go do your homework. The third Fallout title was initially meant to be developed by them in classic top down RPG style, before it was taken on and made first person by Bethesda. Sure, Fallout 3 is pretty fun, but this is Black Isle we’re talking about. With them at the helm, Van Buren (as the original Fallout 3 was known) could’ve been the best RPG ever.
