PLAYSTATION MOVE

Out of all the entries on the list, perhaps with the exception of the PlayStation Classic, this has to be the most shameless copy-paste job Sony has ever done on something that was originally done by the Big N. With the advent of the Wii, motion control gaming saw a massive explosion in popularity, taking over the industry like few other things have, and naturally, others saw that success as a nice business opportunity. Microsoft put a unique spin on it by having full body motion controls with the Kinect, but Sony figured- if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The PS Move is almost a 1:1 replica of the Wii Remote, with a wand to waggle around held in one hand, and another stick with buttons and an analog stick in another. Sure, the glowing ball thingie on top of the wand provides some bit of novelty. But at the end of the day, put a hat on a rabbit- it’s still a rabbit.
