Gears of War Movie is a Thing… Again

Cliff Bleszinski, EPIC’s Head Designer, has revealed, at ComicCon, that the Gears of War movie, which was cancelled some time ago, has been given a new lease of life, and that the project will soon start from scratch. They are currently working on the script, and the project will soon start again.

He says their main focus will be to re-work the story and bring the budget of the movie down. The original budget of $100 million was a bit too much, and seemed a huge risk to several studios, says Blaszinski.

The Gears movie was originally shut down earlier this year when director Len Wiseman left the project.
