Resistance 3 now OFFICIALLY confirmed

Posted By | On 18th, Aug. 2010

After being ousted about a hundred times all over the internet, over billboards and who knows where else, Sony officially announced Resistance 3 in their GamesCom conference at Cologne, Germany, and showed us a cool new trailer (check it out below). The Insomniac guys have announced that the game will be released in 2011.

The live action trailer shows beaten, miserable refugees of the Chimera war heading down a ruinous railway track in a train, as the camera pans the environment, which, by the way, is all bloody and filled with dead bodies hanging from dead trees. The final part of the trailer shows some guys with guns attacking deadly looking Chimera.

The game seems atmospheric, and it seems it might just be worth the wait. Maybe even more.

Keep checking back. We’ll keep you posted as more info, videos and screenshots come.
