Creative gaming.

Media Molecule had recently expanded hiring more people and there are three projects underway at the studio; one is a secret, which is supposed to be an exciting thing, but not much information is revealed about that.

They’ve described it as ‘scary but exhilarating’. Hmmm… that would be quite something exciting to see considering the type of games they’ve made so far.

“An interesting thing about Media Molecule is that we actually enjoy tearing everything up and doing something we couldn’t have imagined doing before. That’s the positive of all this,” Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans told EDGE (via CVG)

“As a studio, we want to keep everything fresh. We don’t want to be known as just the LittleBigPlanet studio, much as we love that. I think of Media Molecule more as creative gaming.

“For Tearaway, we’ve imagined creative gaming within a much more gamey game. For the R&D project, it’s creative gaming; go back to those two words and completely reimagine how people can create. It’s scary, but it’s exhilarating.”

We will keep you updated once we know more about this secret project, so stay tuned to GB!
