Good news for all the people who hate Ninja Theory’s take on the Devil May Cry series! In their endearing attempt to get you to like DmC: Devil May Cry, a game you already hate before you even played it, they’ve announced a new DLC pack, “Vergil’s Downfall” which is exactly what you’d expect: A chance to play as Vergil in a new settings with new moves and new missions. The announcement trailer shows off how Vergil operates, which isn’t too different from his Devil May Cry 3 avatar.

Except probably looking more like a wuss but that’s different.

For those who pre-order the game now from Gamestop in North America, they’ll receive “Vergil’s Downfall” and a “Samurai Weapons Pack” for free. DmC: Devil May Cry is slated for a January 15th release in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, with a PC release due for later. Check out the trailer above and see if it’s worth the trouble.
