Hitman: HD Trilogy Launch Trailer Showcases New and Improved Visuals

Now relieve the original three games in HD goodness.

IO Interactive has released the launch trailer for Hitman: HD Trilogy, set to launch in North America on January 29th and in Europe on February 1st for PS3 and Xbox 360. The overall trailer is interesting, if only because it highlights the level of gameplay variety apparent before Hitman: Absolution.

Hitman: HD Trilogy will include Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, Hitman: Bloody Money and the standalone Hitman: Sniper Challenge released in the lead-up to Absolution. Codename 47, the original game, is absent but given that it wasn’t all that good, we don’t mind one bit.

The Trilogy will boast over 75 different targets across 40 large levels spanning various locations around the globe. There will be much assassination, sniping, stealth play and even gunplay needed to complete these objectives. But all in a career’s work for the Original Assassin.

Hit up the trailer and let us know what you think about the HD Trilogy’s look.
