The Last of Us Demo included in GoW: Ascension will only be available in May

Better late than never?

Sony had earlier promised an early demo of Naughty Dog’s upcoming The Last of Us to all those who picked up God of War: Ascension on release. Now, eager fans who will be picking up Ascension next week are in for a disappointment.

Naughty Dog dropped the bomb over Twitter saying that the demo will only be available on May 31st, two weeks before the full game ships on June 14th. The reason behind the delay wasn’t disclosed, but considering the full fame itself was pushed back two months, we reckon that the demo just wasn’t ready yet.

Whether the demo will be available to those who did not purchase God of War: Ascension is still unknown. Although we wouldn’t be surprised if Sony offered it to PSN Plus Members on the same day. On the other hand, God of War: Ascension will be hitting stores on March 13th. Be sure to check back later for full review.
