Titanfall Gameplay Trailer Showcases Attrition, Promises to “Redefine Action Games” on Next-Gen

The Titan has landed.

Respawn Entertainment showcased a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming next generation shooter Titanfall, and as always, they wowed our skepticism into submission.

The trailer, which can be seen above, showcased a new mode, Attrition, and one of the maps, Angel City, which features lots of skyscrapers to maneuver through, making for a rather dangerous environment for Titans to get caught up in. As if on cue, we get plenty of shooting, jetpack play, wall running and Titan action to round out the trailer.

Titanfall is currently scheduled to release for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One exclusively on consoles, but will also be heading to PC next year. It will be an online multiplayer title, but feature elements of single-player such as NPCs and cutscenes before missions. The action promises to be fast and furious – if the trailer didn’t give it away already. Stay tuned for more details as the months go by.
