At the on-going Tokyo Game Show, Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Frontier G wold be arriving on the PlayStation Vita and will be releasing next year. A teaser site has also been released for the game. It will even be connected to the PlayStation 3 version which features cross-save and cross-play support. Both versions will share servers although exclusive servers for the PS3 version will be made available.

Monster Hunter Frontier G was first released on PC in 2007 as a subscription-based MMO, and it arrived for the Xbox 360 in 2010. It was later announced for release on the PS3 and Wii U, though none of these games share servers with each other. As of now, no version of the game has been released outside of Japan, and it is often referred to as Monster hunter Frontier Online as well.
