Codemasters’ F1 2013 is finally available for Europe on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A launch trailer has been released for the same, which you can check out above. It has Formula One cars; it’s quite nice. It also outlines the dramatic use of slow-motion with pit-crews and racing. Again, worth a look.
F1 2013 is based on the official 2013 Formula One season, with 19 circuits and four “classic” circuits, 11 teams and 22 drivers. However, the most important feature is the F1 Classics mode, which focuses on drivers, cars and races from the 80s and 90s. These same vehicles and drivers will be available online for multiplayer. The game will be available in a Standard Edition and Classic Edition, with the latter featuring an introduction by Murray Walker, who also does commentary during the Classics mode.
F1 2013 will also be available in North America on October 8th 2013. Check out our exclusive interview with the developer here for more details.
