Microsoft Releases Xbox One Features Video

Xbox One is looking sleek.

Microsoft have released a new video which “reveals” everything we can expect from the Xbox. Most of the information has been leaking through the grapevine as developments have taken place, so I was definitely interested to see whether Microsoft actually had something new to bring to the table or was just trying got repackage an old gift.

Essentially what we’re looking at is every update that’s been reported on for the past year jam packed into one ultra sleek and very advertising-y looking commercial for the Xbox One. And I guess that’s totally fine as it’s their official “coming out” trailer. But I can’t say I’m not disappointed. I wanted something new.

The entire gaming community has been holding their breath for every new update on either the Xbox One or the PS4, so of course already know everything it offers. I suppose this may be more for tangential gamers or parents of gamer. And to be honest a marketing strategy not speaking to their most loyal crowd doesn’t speak well for Microsoft. Can’t say I’m surprised though.
