Destiny 2 The Final Shape - Dread

If The Witness wasn’t enough for Guardians in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, they must contend with the new Dread faction. Wielding the powers of Darkness, they create havoc and keep the player off-balance, as seen with the Harbinger, Weaver, Husk and Geist. Two new teasers highlight the remaining members – the Omen, Attendant, and Grim.

The Omen is akin to the Warlock Shadebinder, sending out shards of Stasis which leave crystals behind. The Attendant sends a Stasis wave, which moves fast and can shatter said crystals, causing damage. As for the Grim, they’re new flying enemies with guns who emit a high-pitched shout that can daze the player.

In concert, the Dread pose a significant threat. Thankfully, players can combine Light and Darkness powers with the new Prismatic subclasses, with Transcendence and Exotic class items further tipping the balance.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches on June 4th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.
