Destiny 2 The Final Shape - Exotic Class items

A new gameplay trailer for Destiny 2: The Final Shape saw Bungie unveiling the new Prismatic subclasses. In a new article recapping its gameplay preview, it outlined how this would work. First off, players will have two meters, charged by dealing Light and Darkness damage. Once it’s available, you can activate Transcendence, which provides a new unique grenade and weapon bonuses.

You can also equip new Aspects and Fragments to further customize Prismatic builds (with more slots than before). Best of all, you only need to be unlocked once to make them available for all classes. Perhaps the most exciting aspect is the new Exotic class items, which roll with two perks from random Exotics.

For example, Warlocks could have a bond with Apotheosis Veil and Star-Eater Scales perks, while Hunters could take advantage of Assassin’s Cowl and Liar’s Handshake. These work only with the new Prismatic subclasses, and because they have random rolls, you can farm continuously to find the perfect combo of perks.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches on June 4th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details from the gameplay preview and in the coming weeks.
