Destiny 2 - The Final Shape_02

During a recent preview showcase, Bungie dropped several new details for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, including a new subclass called Prismatic. Instead of catering to a single element like the current batch, it allows for combining Light and Darkness subclasses into one. It allows mixing and matching abilities, like unleashing a Needlestorm and using Phoenix Dive to recover health.

You can even have three different subclass buffs – Radiant, Amplified and Devour – active. Of course, the trailer also showcases new enemy types who answer to The Witness and various locations that players explore while venturing through The Traveler. Some cinematic cutscenes include Zavala entering the portal created by The Witness and Cayde dramatically firing a gun.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches on June 4th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, Xbox One and PS4. It’s worth noting that new Light-based subclasses – Storm’s Edge, Twilight Arsenal and Song of Flame – are also included. Head here to see them in action, and stay tuned for more details.
