Did we mention Crackdown 3, Forza Horizon 2 and Black Tusk's cancelled project?

A NeoGAF user has begun dropping tons of information regarding not only the Halo series but upcoming release dates for Xbox One exclusives. As always, take these with a grain of salt, but the man in question has been verified as a source.

First off, we won’t be getting Halo 5 this year. Instead, Halo 2 Anniversary is apparently due to release on Xbox One in November 2014 (it could even be pushed into 2015), and will include beta access to Halo 5. The latter has been pushed to 2015 and details are still scant as to when it’ll be out. Halo Anniversary 2 will also apparently have the same developers as the first Anniversary game (namely, Saber Interactive and 343 Industries for the campaign and Certain Affinity for the multiplayer).

It will have plenty of company though, as Fable Legends is apparently landing in Summer 2015. Other exclusives like Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive will be out by Fall 2014, with Forza Horizon 2 apparently joining them. It seems that Forza Horizon 2 will also feature co-op and social features along with a native 1080p resolution (much like Forza 5).

As for Crackdown 3, which Ruffian Games has seemingly been teasing, it’s somewhat possible an announcement is made at E3 2014. However, as of now, the game is apparently slated to release in Q1 2016.

There also seem to be plans to release the White Xbox One, previously reserved for Microsoft employees, to the public but a special package also seems planned where you can pick up the White Xbox One along with a copy of Sunset Overdrive. A Limited Edition 1 TB Xbox One will also apparently be making its way to consumers in November.

Did we mention that there’s a chance of the Xbox One being sold at $399, possibly without the Optical Disc Drive? It sound far-fetched, we know, but there it is. It also seems that Black Tusk was indeed working a project for the Xbox One, titled “Shangheist”. Was it the same game showcased at E3 2013? Most likely, but them being on Gears of War now means they’ll be spending at least 2.5 years developing it.

What do you make of all these rumours and do you believe there’s a lick of truth in any of them? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
