A boot camp for Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is being held in Nasu by Kojima Productions and several of those attending have shared their impressions. Most especially, they noticed how beautiful the PS4 version looks compared to the Xbox One version along with outlining some stray observations here and there.

First up was @DouglasNerd who noted first and foremost to, “Get Ground Zeroes on PS4, not XB1. Way better visuals, frame rate, everything… I believe @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN said so himself.

“Man, PS4 version is definitely prettier. Xbox One is fine, though.” As for the second screen functionality goes, he said, “Not a big fan of the iDroid so far, though. Sometimes you just need to stop too often. Second screen app can eliminate the problem.

“I really like the way they’re using audio logs to tell you parts of the story. The recordings are really well done. Silly observation: Credits for the main mission roll up, like in a movie. Credits for the Side Ops are stills, like an episode.”

Sam Smith from Play Magazine also stated that, “The PS4 version of Ground Zeroes is gorgeous. Quite a lot better looking than the Xbox One version, too…controversy…”

Kojima has already expressed the desire to release a comparison video for all versions of Ground Zeroes. We’ll get to personally see how they measure up when the game releases on Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 18th in North America and March 20th in Europe.
