Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will apparently be heading to the PC in 2015, according to alisting on Spanish retail site xtralife. Though the listing was reported on April 1st, it actually went live on March 31st.

Even more interestingly, Spain doesn’t celebrate April Fool’s Day so it’s unlikely to be a joke. Whether it’s legit or not, the retail has reason to believe that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be releasing on March 12th 2015 for PC for 50.99€. You can even pre-purchase the game right now and receive a discount. The listing has since been removed, so take this with a grain of salt.

It’s worth noting that Konami has expressed interest in bringing the game to the PC in the past.

In other news, director Hideo Kojima spoke to 4Gamer about the issues that Snake will face in The Phantom Pain as he transitions to being Big Boss. He likened the development to Breaking Bad’s Walter White, who breaks the law for his own reasons and can be viewed as either a hero or a villain. Snake will apparently suffer “serious psychological damage” in The Phantom Pain that will be the catharsis of him becoming Big Boss and how he chose the dark path.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is still a ways off but its prologue Ground Zeroes is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
