The Elder Scrolls Online launched recently for the PC and Mac, and it seems to be doing pretty well for itself. The game had a scheduled launch date of June for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but yesterday, reports leaked that stated the console versions were being delayed. Bethesda has since confirmed the delay, but to anyone who was looking forward to the game on consoles, they have attempted to reach out with an olive branch.

Basically, Bethesda has confirmed that players who play on the PC and Mac will get the option to just pay an additional $20 and get access to the game on either PS4 or Xbox One in addition to their PC/Mac subscription- they will also get the opportunity to transfer their character to the console version, and get another 30 days of the game for free.

It sounds like a good attempt at reconciliation with possibly estranged fans, but we’ll see how well the console versions fare when the game eventually releases on them- whenever that is.
