Fantasia: Music Evolved sees the player entering the realms of Fantasia and will feature usage of Kinect motion control technology and controller-free gameplay. The game promises a world which will be full of music and creativity and one can expect the game to deliver since Harmonix is leading the development on this.

Fantasia: Music Evolved is a Microsoft exclusive meaning that it will only be released on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Given that the Xbox One has seen its fair share of resolution drama, will Fantasia: Music Evolved run at a resolution lower than 1080p? Fortunately that won’t be the case. Speaking to Jonathan Mintz, Lead Designer of Disney: Fantasia Music Evolved, GamingBolt can confirm that the game will run at 1080p and 30 frames per second.

And did the development team faced any issues due to the eSRAM of the Xbox One and whether they came across any challenges while developing on the Xbox One? Mintz confirmed that none of this was an issue since the game is built with the Xbox One in mind.

“Our game was built with the Xbox One in mind, so I don’t believe we encountered any particularly difficult challenges. We were mostly excited to be working with the extra horsepower of the console and the increase fidelity of Kinect for Xbox One,” Mintz explained.

Given that the Xbox One has seen a constant stream of criticism of not having enough games that run at full 1080p, it’s nice to see Harmonix putting in the effort to achieve the same with Fantasia: Music Evolved.

This is just a snippet of our interview with Harmonix and we will have more in the coming days.
