Though Activision claimed that Bungie’s Destiny is the fastest selling new IP in Europe following its debut, Ubisoft has fired back, stating that this record is for North America and UK only. Watch Dogs is still the fastest selling new IP for all of Europe as evidenced by Gfk Chart-Track data.
Speaking to MCV UK, a Ubisoft rep said that, “Congratulations to Activision and Bungie for taking the title in North America and the UK, but Watch Dogs is still going strong and we’re proud of everything that the Watch Dogs team has accomplished so far.”
Watch Dogs has recently been updated with the new Bad Blood DLC which lets you play as T-Bone and embark on new story missions and side-quests.
