Grand Theft Auto 5 Video Highlights Amazing Differences Between PS3 and PS4 Versions

Los Santos has never looked better (like, ever).

One may question the need for HD remasters of one year old games but Rockstar Games has been putting so much detail into the Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 that it’s not even funny. Aside from 20 new species of animals, new radio stations, new activities and even a full fledged first person shooter mode, Grand Theft Auto 5 on current gen consoles has heavily overhauled the visuals from its previous gen counterparts. Check out the comparison video above.

It’s just ridiculous how much better things look on the PS4 as compared to the PS3 version. Right off the bat, you’ll notice better dynamic lighting, improved real-time weather effects, lush and detailed foliage which is more prominent, a larger number of NPCs walking the streets, detailed fur on animals, sharper clarity thanks to the 1080p resolution and realistic chrome on cars.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is out on November 18th for Xbox One and PS4 with the PC version out on January 27th 2015. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.
