Destiny’s Iron Banner Event Returns: Loot Revealed

Find out what weapons can be earned this time around.

Destiny

Destiny’s PvP-focused live event, the Iron Banner, is live once again. If you travel to the Tower in Bungie’s online shooter, you’ll find the door behind the Bounty Tracker open and Lord Saladin of the Iron Lords waiting for you. Level advantages have been enabled so while you can enter as a level 20 Guardian, you’ll be quickly overwhelmed by players 10 levels above you.

What does the Iron Banner offer this time aside from the same bounties, bonds and emblems? Along with gloves and boots that each have 36 Light, thus eliminating the need to invest in Crota’s End raid gear, there are two key weapons to fight for. Felwinter’s Lie, a Legendary Shotgun, requires rank 4 of Iron Banner standing while Gheleon’s Demise, a Legendary Scout Rifle, requires rank 5.

Sadly, it seems that one’s standing is reset again for the Iron Banner event. You can still purchase Tempered buffs to increase standing for every victory while a Medallion is earned with each loss that can be redeemed for more standing upon winning. Regardless, this is the same Iron Banner from last month.
