Sony have officially confirmed that the CryEngine development tools from Crytek will be supported by their upcoming NGP. This was discovered when Sony announced what development tools are now available for their upcoming handheld. The list also included the popular Havok physics engine and Epic’s Unreal engine 3.
Sony are well on their way toward their goal of making NGP development “as natural as possible” with this announced list of middleware dev tool support.
